Turn the right-hand knob clockwise, making sure not to turn it too far clockwise, otherwise the coffee delivery will be too slow.
Turn the grinding coarseness one click clockwise. Turn a click at a time until the coffee is delivered satisfactorily.
You should use skim or low-fat milk that is cold. Check the steam nozzle and/or intake hole to see if it is clogged. Clean away any dried milk to allow steam to flow freely. Make sure that you depress the steam button firmly.
The coffee may have been ground too coarsely. Also check to make sure that the coffee is not old or stale.
1. Press the P button to enter the menu; 2. Turn the selection knob until the â€œwater tank is emptyâ€ and â€œfilter is exhaustedâ€ lights come on (the second flashes to indicate the presence of the filter); 3. Press the OK and â€œsteam/hot waterâ€ button: the light stops flashing â€œwater tank is emptyâ€ to indicate that the filter is not present. The ESC light comes on and the OK light flashes; 4. Press the steam/hot water and ESC buttons twice to exit the menu.
1. Press the P button to enter the menu; 2. Turn the selection knob until "Install Filter" is displayed; 3. Press OK and hot water buttons; 4. The message "Confirm?" is displayed. 5. Press the â€œrinseâ€ and ESC buttons; 6. When the asterisk has disappeared from the top right of the display, press the â€œrinseâ€ and ESC buttons to exit the menu.
